It’s Always Rewarding When WeChatting

WeChat is always looking for ways to reward our users, and also for ways to give back to you for being such loyal WeChatters. Following our successful Friends n Rewards Campaign in India, we are now extending our campaign to users in Malaysia!

From now until April 25th, WeChat users living in Malaysia will have the opportunity to earn WeChat points to redeem cool gifts from local brands, such as Huawei, Chatime, Grabtaxi, MCash and Zalora. All you have to do to redeem points (up to 3 points a day) is make a video or voice call of at least 60 seconds through WeChat.

The points will be accumulated to redeem awesome gifts, like the Huawei Ultra-Thin Power-Bank, discounts from Chatime and MCash, RM10 off your next MyTeksi ride, or even enjoying storewide coupons from Zalora.*

So how do I start earning points and redeeming gifts?

We’re glad you asked. If you are living in Malaysia:

  1. Voice or Video Call your friends on WeChat
  2. Chat for at least 60 seconds
  3. Redeem your points at WeChat Team > WeReward
  4. Check your balance through the WeReward Balance Page, redeem vouchers / coupons under My Vouchers
